Check usable space against the equipment schedule
List the equipment quantity, height, depth, mounting arrangement and weight. Specify rack height, external dimensions and required mounting clearances. Check space for cable bend radii, PDUs, rear connectors and maintenance access rather than relying only on nominal rack depth.
State static and transport loads separately
Provide installed equipment weights and the required loading conditions. Ask for the proposed model load data and any transport limitations. Define anchoring or site-specific requirements for review; a general rack description does not establish a seismic or load rating.
Coordinate doors, airflow and containment
Define door arrangement, ventilation needs, side panels, blanking and cable entries. For hot- or cold-aisle containment, provide the row layout, aisle dimensions, cooling interfaces and access requirements. Keep rack and cooling design aligned with the selected equipment.
Specify PDU and cable management scope
Identify the required supply voltage, frequency, plugs, outlet types, power feeds, metering and monitoring. Confirm mounting and usable equipment space. A rack enclosure quotation does not include servers, PDUs or cooling unless they are expressly included.
Plan packaging and site delivery
State the delivery country, quantity, assembly preference and packaging requirements. Include doorway and lift dimensions, loading dock conditions and handling constraints. Send the site specification rather than assuming a single configuration for every project.
Build a comparable RFQ
Send a rack schedule with dimensions, equipment loads, airflow, door and panel configuration, PDU requirements and delivery location. SHEENYI can review server and network cabinets, cable management and aisle containment against the requested scope.
